During the Coronavirus pandemic, due to the widespread of the virus school had to be halted in Cameroon. Due to the interruption of school, classes were stopped and students couldn’t have learn their classes to finish the school program for the academic year. There was an attempt to do classes on national TV and Radio but that wasn’t effective as different students from different schools weren’t on the same level in their school programs.

Afroteq developed an online E-learning platform B-Konekt that could help the issue, each school could have its platform configured with its data and personalized for its specific needs. So with this solution, each school could follow their program independently of the other.

The platform allowed the creation of different classes with students lists and different subjects per classes. Each teacher had his account to share notes with his students of the different classes he thought, there was also an option for the teacher to give assignments to students and there was a module were students could submit the assignment. Livestream classes via zoom were also possible.

Each student had his account to access notes, comment on teachers’ lectures to ask for explanation and a module where to submit assignments.
