Interview with the Minor Beggars of Kousseri in Northern Cameroon

On January 18, 2021 Afroteq community following the idea of investigating why there are several fasting (age group 09-15 years) beggars in the city of Kousseri, organizes a week-long interview with some youth. Although the task was not easy to convince these young people to exchange, we were finally able to convince 06 of these children.

This was beneficial because it allowed us to know why they were mandating, and what they needed most (new clothes, schooling, more space or sleep…)

So from this activity we were able to decide what action to take so that he could be fulfilled. Thanks to this step we will evolve in our actions to lead.

Distribution of collected clothes

In order to alleviate the most imminent needs of the young beggars of Kousseri. We made a collection of clothes. On August 09, 2021 we called back the 06 children who had cooperated to distribute the clothes to them so that it leaves to share again with the other beggars.

Offering these young people the new clothes and seeing the joy on their faces was our expectation. Thank you to those who made this event possible.

Moment of exchange and sharing with the orphans

As part of reassured and encourage the orphans to resume their school return the association sponsored a child invited us on September 11, 2021 to join them to spend a moment with the orphans of the foundation fact.

Marked by the lack of family life because he or she lost their parents, most of the young people are not well supervised.

To offer these young people the possibility to exchange, have fun, receive gifts and enjoy together moments of games is the objective. Thank you to those who have given their time this day.
